(Rosetted/Spotted, Marble): Same as Brown (Black) Tabby except the Charcoal brown colors are cold browns, with no warm gold, or amber tones and with the addition of, Mask, Goggles and Cape.

Breed Council Change Considerations:
NOTE: Rose highlight indicates a "Strike-through" of wording in the Bengal Breed standard to be removed. Gold highlight indicates an "underline" which is new wording being proposed to add in to the Bengal Standard.
1. ONLY If question #42 passes (acceptance of the Charcoal Pattern Effect under the "PATTERN" heading), We can choose to remove this title section and its description. A Charcoal pattern together with "Brown (Black) color" would already be described under those established headings.

Rationale:
A. This uses the color brown to describe a primarily Black and Charcoal colored Bengal.
B. There are gold and reds that can come through in a Charcoal, especially in those Apb/Apb cats (Twilight Charcoal). They should not be penalized for this. Using the Brown (Black) color description would fit nicely for all charcoals, even those carrying the non-Agouti allele which darkens up most all Bengal colors. (the non-Agouti gene is not required to be a Charcoal - it just gives the cat a darker/wider cape, more dramatic face mask and whited goggles.)
Obstacle:
A. Does not address the colors of charcoals specifically - Black and dark gray.
B. There are gold and reds that can come through in a Charcoal, especially in those Apb/Apb cats. They should not be penalized for this.
PROPOSAL #50 ON THE 2019 BALLOT. Results: 40 Yes, 27 No - 67 voters needs 41 votes to pass. Did not Pass.
2. ONLY If Proposal #42 (2019 Ballot) is not accepted (to move Charcoal into our Pattern section), then we may choose to change the wording of this section to better describe the Brown (Black) Charcoals Color.

A. Even if we vote to adopt the phrasing/placement of the "Charcoal Pattern Effect", it may be helpful to have a written description for the colors.
B. There are gold and reds that can come through in a Charcoal, especially in those Apb/Apb cats (Twilight Charcoal). The Bengals who use/carry the non-Agouti allele to darken up that version of a charcoal (Midnight Charcoal), they should not be seen as better. Genetically, the charcoals with two Apb alleles are more "Charcoal" that those with only one. Neither should have preference over the other. (The non-Agouti gene is not required to be a Charcoal - it just gives the cat a darker/wider cape, more dramatic face mask and whited goggles.)
C. We are missing: Nose leather, paw pads, eye color and tail tip for this color description and need to add them in.
